A/B Testing Proves Playable Ads Outperform Standard Ad Types on Facebook for Casumo

The online gaming studio wanted to test the performance of their static advertising on Facebook compared to their new interactive, playable ads created with TreSensa's Mobile Ad Suite.

Background

Casumo, an online gaming studio with a catalog of over 2,000 casino games, wanted to test the performance of their new interactive, playable ads created with TreSensa's Mobile Ad Suite.

Casumo teamed up with TreSensa to create a playable slots version of their game, Oddin, to market to their Danish audience.

Goals

Casumo was looking to reduce their cost per acquisition while simultaneously increasing conversions.

Solution

The playable ad engaged users by asking them to spin to collect points through the casino slot game. After three spins, the player is prompted with the option to 'See More' or 'Play Again.'

The playable ran in tandem with the standard ad types on Facebook but saw much more impressive performance over the campaign flight. The CTR was 49.9% higher, the conversion rate was 79% higher, and the CPA was 54.7% lower with the TreSensa ads versus the standard ads.

The Facebook campaign was a huge success, driving conversions and lowering the acquisition cost for Casumo, all while engaging their target audience with a compelling creative from TreSensa.
